Introduction to the language
Shona Language is a native language spoken by the largest percentage of Zimbabweans. Shona is the native language of the Shona people. There are also Shona speakers in Zambia and Mozambique. English is considered to be the business language in Zimbabwe. Zezuru, Manyika, Karanga, Korekore are the main Shona dialects. As a Bantu language, Shona shares some words with Swahili and some of the native language in Central and Eastern Africa.
